You are the last of your kind. Bred for combat, built for war, you are the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle and fear no enemy.
Bent on Humankind's extermination, a powerful fellowship of alien races known as the Covenant is wiping out the Earth's fledgling interstellar empire. You and the other surviving defenders of a devastated colony-world make a desperate attempt to lure the alien fleet away from Earth. Shot down and marooned on the ancient ring-world Halo, you begin a guerilla-war against the Covenant. Fight for humanity against an alien onslaught as you race to uncover the mysteries of Halo.

The game (on PC) was created in 2004 by Gearbox and published by Micorosoft. You can find it free here!. There's also a Demo version of the game, Halo Combat Evolved trial which contains one mission and one multiplayer map. Halo CE (Custom Edition) is a free downloadable only game which needs Halo Combat Evolved's CD and product key to run (if you don't have them you can find a product key and a carck for the game here). It's an only multiplayer game but you can add extra maps, something that Halo Combat Evolved isn't able to do.
The game's graphics are good, but not enough for today. Although that, you will enjoy it because you can talk to other players and you don't be killed too easy (everyday, about 700 players all over the world play Halo).
